Hi everyone,
I suggested
Scott
Meyers to the IRPOA Board for our fall 2009
workshops because he had given a great overview of the
Self
Storage business at my CCIA meeting. His
presentation showed us why this was a sensible alternative
investment, offering many of the same benefits as
residential real estate, but with some significant upsides.

The all day
workshop was everything I expected it to be and more. Scott
holds the highest designation available from the
Self Storage Association, and instructs
some of their classes. He started in residential real
estate buying and rehabbing houses and
apartment complexes. After the disastrous
period around Sept 11, 2001 he re-evaluated his business and
moved into self storage. He has adopted a high level of
